Which of the following Web resources do you currently find most useful?
The two most frequently used resources were Travel Web Sites and Meetings Industry Web Portals.  These were followed distantly by Wikis, Bulletin Boards and Blogs.   See Chart: Top Web Resource Types

Do you use the Internet to research any of the following task areas?
Practioners most frequently use Internet resources to research travel, site selection, entertainment & speakers, reservations & registration, marketing & promotion.  See Chart: Task-Specific Internet Research

What Web Sites do you use most often for planning meetings?
Responses were grouped according to common charateristics.  Most popuplar cateories were search engines, branded hotel sites, meetings organizations sites, meetings portals, travel portal, CVB sites.  See Chart: Preferred Web Site Categories

What information do you most need that you cannot currently find?
Respondents identified contacts for hotels as well as vendors, floorplans for hotels and meeting spaces, nubmer of rooms available in hotels, Venue information, specific costs, and ratings for hotels as being most difficult to locate on the Web.  See Chart: Most Needed Information

In what sector of the meetings industry are you involved?
Meeting planners represented the vast majority of our sample.  Hoteliers were a distant second place holder.  See Chart: Meetings Industry Sector
